Optic atrophy is a chronic disorder in which there is gradual degeneration of optic nerve leading to gradual diminution in vision. To start with there may be only blurring of vision but later it may result into total blindness. Considering that optic atrophy has no treatment in modern medicine, but in acupuncture the results are encouraging and wonderful.
